My philosophy

Technical documentation should be clear, engaging, and approachable—never dense or intimidating. I believe people learn best when content is written in plain, human language, supported by thoughtful structure and precise accuracy. My process is straightforward: gather information, test the product as I write, and collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and other subject-matter experts to ensure every detail is correct. I also partner across the business to ensure all technical materials reflect the company’s brand, voice, and mission.

With more than 15 years of experience, I’ve produced everything from 300-page technical manuals to full-scale help centers, API documentation, and customer-facing technical marketing content.

A little about me

I’m an avid reader (always happy to swap horror/thriller recommendations), a dedicated coffee enthusiast, and a hobbyist web builder exploring static site generation with Hugo and Git. I’m always learning and love diving into new tools and technologies.

I live in Northeast Ohio with my husband, son, two dogs, and cat.
